The Hollywood Reporter has a review of Evening: Bottom Line: What a cast but what a disappointment. You might be able to guess from the subject that it is not quite good. Variety has another average review for the movie but good for Claire's performance. "Though she looks nothing like a young Redgrave, Danes proves engagingly vivacious as the young, bohemian Ann, who's quietly disdained by Lila's socialite mother." E!Online put Claire as an example for teen queen Lindsay Lohan. Claire was praised for, though lots of bad news, her effort to continuously bringing out good performances in Shopgirl, The Family Stone, and, especially, Evening. "Danes, in the lead, is wholly watchable, always captivating. Damn, she's getting good."
According to Playbill, Claire, along with other stars such as Hugh Dancy and Kevin Spacey, will take part in the developmental process for the New York debut of "The 24 Hour Plays: Old Vic New Voices." The event will come to New York July 2 at The Atlantic Theater for an 8 PM curtain. Claire will join the discussion group with 40 young New York theatrical stars, writers, directors who will create six original plays in one day. The sessions will focus on skills crucial for the success of the event, including writing under pressure, vocal projection, speed-learning lines and building confidence and trust. MovieWeb has posted a vdo clip of Claire interview about her character in Evening.
It is reported that Claire will be honoured for Nova Award at the 2007 Maui Film Festival. The event, "Intimate Conversations and Nova Award Tributes," will be held on Thursday, June 14, at the Wailea Beach Marriott Resort and Spa, Wailea, Hawaii. According to the official website, Claire is honored "for her original and seamless performances, and the ways in which she consistently infuses each character that she embodies with unique insight, humanity, and wisdom. An Emmy nominee and Golden Globe Award winner, Danes has firmly established herself as one of Hollywood's leading actresses."
People has a report about Claire and Hugh Dancy's plan to scuba diving. "Hugh Dancy and Claire Danes seem to be getting along swimmingly: After attending a spate of events in the last few days, the press-shy couple are planning a scuba-diving vacation."
Claire and her Evening co-star and friend, Mamie Gummer, attended the Evening premiere at New York's Chelsea Theater on June 11. "We're real life friends now," Claire said. Other attendances are director Lajos Koltai, producer Jeff Sharp and screenwriter Michael Cunningham. Danes told the Newport Daily News of a specific memory of Rhode Island unrelated to the movie. "I think of pumpkins," she said. "We went out to get pumpkins at Sweet Berry Farm (in Middletown). It was so much fun. It was that time of year."
Projo has a report from Evening red carpet in Newport. It was lights, cameras and lots of action in Washington Square Park last night as actresses Claire Danes and Mamie Gummer (daughter of Meryl Streep), Hungarian-born director Lojos Koltai and screenwriter Michael Cunningham walked the red carpet.
The movie Evening, which was filmed in Newport and Tiverton, had a special screening at the Jane Pickens Theatre and Opera House Cinema. The official premiere of the film is tomorrow in New York City.

Claire Danes is confirmed as a presenter of the 61st annual Tonys Awards which is scheduled to be broadcast on June 10 on CBS from Radio City Music Hall. Other presenters are Evening co-star Patrick Wilson, Harry Connick Jr., Anne Heche, Felicity Huffman, Kevin Spacey, John Turturro, Usher, and Vanessa Williams.

Evening is reported to be premiere at the Seattle International Film Festival on June 16th. Furthermore, according to Variety, Evening will be featured as an opening film of the Nantucket Film Festival on June 13th.

CinemaBlend.com has a small mention about Claire whether she is in the option for Terminator 4. "If Stahl comes back, I wonder what that means for Claire Danes? Unlike Stahl, she’s had other things to do since T3. She doesn’t need the work, but is she part of the option package too? If they’re going to do this they might as well do it right, and to me doing it right means getting both Stahl and Danes back."
